My wife knew a girl at BYU who was James E Talmage’s great-granddaughter. She told my wife the famous rumor that Albert Einstein thought James E Talmage was the smartest person in the world, so I decided to look up it’s authenticity (it doesn’t appear to be true, by the way).
While looking around online I came across an awesome website called holyfetch.com. This website has all the fun Mormon rumors we’ve heard throughout the years plus more such as the one that David O McKay drank coke (this one is actually true and documented). It’s like a snopes.com for Mormons. Go visit the site. I think you’ll have fun!

Since you’re posting on rumors, did you hear about Alice Cooper? His father was an apostle and his father’s middle name is “Moroni”. It is true!
