		<description><![CDATA[You make some very interesting points here--it made me think of the many occasions throughout the scriptures that Christ is referred to as the bridegroom, both directly and through allegory.  What better way for Him to communicate His deep love for us than to give us the role as the bride?

As we, the body of the church, fill that esteemed role, of course we are asked to remain faithful to the bridegroom, to show our commitment to Him.  And what better step to show our commitment to the Savior than being baptized?]]></description>
