Dallin H. Oaks gave a talk in Oct. of 2000. His topic was "The Challenge to Become". In his usual methodical away he laid out the doctrine that out goal in life is to become something. Our goal is not to do some things, and to avoid other things. It is to become a disciple of Christ.

It has inspired me to understand that through my ups and downs, good times and bad times, what am I becoming? This is what matters.
